"We sat up camp beneath an oak, but then our big tentpole broke and we had to use some branches to make do. We gathered wood but it was wet, so around no fire, there we sat eating s'mores that we could barely chew."
Does this sound like real life, just a bit. The Happy Camper is the THIRD children's book created in collaboration with Milkbarn Kids and illustrator Haley Hunt.

Singer-songwriter and celebrated storyteller, Rory Feek combines the significance of his Tennessee farm life with his deep-rooted love for family and adventure in this heartfelt tale of What Do Sheep Count?, one of four children’s books in collaboration with Milkbarn.
Using playful, gauche paintings, Southern California artist and illustrator Haley Hunt provides a peek into dreamland in What Do Sheep Count?, one of seven children’s books illustrated for Milkbarn. For many years, Haley’s sketches and drawings have played an integral part in Milkbarn’s one-of-a-kind prints. Haley and her husband, Charlie, make their home along the shores of San Diego, where she enjoys surfing, walks along the beach, and experimenting in the kitchen.
