Sabah has created a custom pair of Baba shoes to celebrate this year's Winter Seasonal collection. These handmade Babas are sprayed with leather paint and mimic a signature faded glazing technique by Heath. The shape is their classic El Paso, which is produced at the Sabah workshop in El Paso, Texas. There they use a unique undyed, vegetable-tanned leather upper, which is light in color and smooth when new. Over time the leather softens becoming richer and darker in color. The sole, heel, and insole are made from a unique, vegetable-tanned Italian bull leather and sewn with a channeled, lock-stitched construction that is not common in modern footwear. Your Babas will break in with wear stretching and forming to your feet to become uniquely yours.
